No, this works very well and helps make everybody happy – as it means that there are two lovely indoor spaces, each with a slightly different vibe.
For those wanting to go wild on the dancefloor, the Kent Barn is an amazing space, while the smaller Long Barn – which houses the bar and wood burning stove – offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for guests to take a break, sit and talk in a cozy atmosphere. The Long Barn offers somewhere for arriving guests to meet and to say their goodbyes at the end of the night and is also great for the little ones.
In any case, we offer table service within the Kent Barn so guests don’t need to move!
Yes, the Showman’s Wagon is perfect – It sits within the barnyard and can be reserved for the Bride and Groom only. Additional footwear or clothing can be stored in the Showmans wagon, as well as anything valuable.
Preston Court has good relations with one or two local taxi firms and it’s easy to arrange economical transport for you and your guests.
