Yes, both barns have heating, including a cosy wood burning stove in the Long Barn. There are also outdoor stoves (patio heaters) available.
No, this works very well and helps make everybody happy – as it means that there are two lovely indoor spaces, each with a slightly different vibe.
For those wanting to go wild on the dancefloor, the Kent Barn is an amazing space, while the smaller Long Barn – which houses the bar and wood burning stove – offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for guests to take a break, sit and talk in a cozy atmosphere. The Long Barn offers somewhere for arriving guests to meet and to say their goodbyes at the end of the night and is also great for the little ones.
In any case, we offer table service within the Kent Barn so guests don’t need to move!
Yes, the Showman’s Wagon is perfect – It sits within the barnyard and can be reserved for the Bride and Groom only. Additional footwear or clothing can be stored in the Showmans wagon, as well as anything valuable.
Preston Court has good relations with one or two local taxi firms and it’s easy to arrange economical transport for you and your guests.

We cannot thank everybody at Preston Court enough for all their hard work, continued support and always going the extra mile to ensure we had our dream wedding. When we looked round the venue in summer 2015 with Anna and Jen we knew it was the venue for us and booked it! (Over 2 years in advance!) This venue is so unique as it has those extra touches like the incredible carousel, gigglebox and resident peacocks Dave and Steve. The staff are incredibly friendly- always! We want to say a special ‘thank you’ to Tiggi for her excellent venue styling, signage making (which will go up on our walls at Home!) and just listening to us and getting our vision for our day. Don’t bother with any other venue styler, she is everything you need and more and is absolutely lovely as are all the staff at Preston court! Thank you, thank you and thank you Preston Court! Everyone at Preston Court were so helpful, friendly and made our wedding day in October so very special. It is an amazing and beautiful venue and we couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. Everyone at the wedding commented on how unique the venue was and how lovely the staff were. We would recommend Preston Court to anyone planning their wedding. It really was the most amazing day and a huge amount of that was due to the incredible staff and beautiful grounds at Preston Court. From our initial point of contact, they were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We fell in love with the venue immediately online and after viewing it, we loved it even more. They made the whole process really easy when it come to securing the date, paying the initial deposit and a clear programme was in place for the run up to the wedding and booking in handy meetings to discuss everything from where an easel was going to go to how many glasses of fizz where needed, when. The day itself was a dream. This sounds odd but we promise it is a massive compliment but, it was like the staff were not even there as it ran SO smoothly and was so well organised. However, when you needed anything extra, they were there at a drop of hat to help. All our guests commented on the staff for being so approachable and accommodating. Furthermore, they all said how stunning Preston Court was and how the day 'flowed' with all the beautiful areas and spaces available. The best venue and team - thanks a million for the most wonderful day!
Hayley & Tom had a vintage carnival themed wedding over at the stunning Preston Court in Kent earlier this year. The bridesmaids wore bright red 50′s prom dresses with huge blue petticoats underneath, beautiful bride Hayley wore a vintage dress, 20′s art deco styled shoes, bright red lippy and a beautiful vintage head piece in her hair.
It was a pleasure and such a delight to hold one of the most important days of our lives at this beautiful venue full of professional, friendly and hard working staff, fairytale kind of envirnoment, beautiful decor, and fantastic location. We truly had a dream wedding that you can only expect to see in movies, therefore, we cannot thank Preston Court enough for making our day so special not just to ourselves but our guests too! Dear All of Preston Court. Thank you for the most incredible day - it really was dreamy and all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is and helpful the staff. It exceeded all our wildest expectations.
Everyone LOVED the venue, we had so many people say it was the best wedding they'd been to and that they couldn't get over how amazing Preston Court was. The garden was stunning and everyone loved the carousel, the organs and the peacocks. We loved being able to spread the reception between the grassy bit and the courtyard and I think the guests loved it too. We can't believe how lucky we were with the weather, it all looked stunning. We were very sad to leave yesterday after collecting our stuff thinking it would likely be our last time there.
