Fairground & Steam
The Steam Museum
Fairground
When you arrive at Preston Court Farm you won’t fail to spot some interesting steam trains and traction engines dotted around. The amazing pieces of engineering are part of The Steam Museum which was started by Anna’s father Michael about 30 years ago.
There is an impressive Showman’s Engine called The ‘Vanguard’ which is covered in polished brass and rich red paintwork.
If you visit in winter time you will be able to see The Vanguard in the barn as it becomes an ‘engine Shed’ in winter months.
